Butterfly

Another poem, the birthing of which straddled the midnight hour - so the date given is that of the conception rather than completion.

Butterfly  -  18 May 13

Slow spiral dance
Butterfly knows the moves
Has watched
Through time
Watching us slide
Through every step

Spheres play
An infinite
Symphony
For us

Symphonic Love songs
Cascade through us
Life through Eternity

Let us sing

I really Love it when Muse offers her little suggestions.

  1. i love the rhythm of this ~ the lyrical flow. the imagery of the first verse

    "Slow spiral dance
    Butterfly knows the moves"

suggests a delicacy and, along with "infinite" in the next verse and "Eternity" in the third gives the overall feeling of a very slow dance that does not need to be rushed.

a lot of nuances in this, standing out differently with each reading. soooo lovely! brilliant!

    1. If you have ever watched butterflies dancing in a patch of sunlight sometimes their moves can be anything but slow, more like Dervishes in fact.
'twas my intent to convey the Eternal dance, the dance of Love ... and a few other things too.

Thank you dani ♥ for your Lovely insightful comments.
