Moon Whispers

This was going to be a Love poem but as it grew, it became obvious that more was happening.  The format was one in which the last word in a stanza became the first in the next and I have to admit that the very first word had to be changed so that the whole concept would flow.

Moon Whispers  -  27 Jul 13

Cloud of light
Moon whispers
As she watches me
Secretly kissing
Our memories

Memories refresh
As the years
Flow through the mind
I watch the missed
Opportunities

Opportunities present
Themselves again
They are never really missed
And we can try again
To play

Play the game of whispers
Watch the years slip
Missing themselves
A long awaited kiss
Becomes a mental cloud

I think it works ~ what say you?
