Teasing
Promising more
Never providing
Hinting
Offering
Then withholding
Giving frustration
Moist
Giving
Thunder in the distance
Rain promise fulfilled
... whether it would actually rain ~ it did, eventually.

i like this a lot ~ quite often {especially during the late summer monsoon} we get the dark clouds and winds, but no rain. as often as not, we get the giant dust storms called 'haboobs' ~ i'd much prefer "Rain promise fulfilled"
ReplyDeleteHere we never have a monsoon but sometimes the rain gets rather insistent. I am so glad that we don't have any dust-storms.
