Key
In a moment of quiet, while workmen outside took a break, I saw a photograph of a key and this poem grew quite quickly. It has an element of limite surréaliste about it.
Key - 10 Sep 13
In the reflection of
The mind’s eye
A key
Seeing what it opens
Requesting permission
To enter
The doorway to your Heart
In the sea
Within you
Waves draw me on
To you
You draw me in to you
Also a small amount of inappropriate thoughts as well.
aw! i was into the romantic loveliness of this poem until i read your outro. {smile}
ReplyDeletekeeping it as JUST a love song, beautiful imagery!
It was just a tiny inappropriate thought, triggered by the last line of the poem, which wasn't consciously intended.
DeleteThank you dani ♥ for your Lovely comments.
