Songs Remember


This all came about when my mind kept remembering old songs and playing them from my memory.



Songs Remember  -  15 Aug 15

 Soft sweet songs
Still sung
In the halls
Of my memory

 Songs of Love
Songs of loss
Loves which might
Have been now gone

 In amongst the old songs
Fragments of a new one
Coming together forming
New memories



The idea that memory could create and form new songs for me to sing was rather appealing.

      In my case this is true ~ songs and tunes are often playing in my mind and most carry a memory of something. It is often difficult to know whether the song carries the memory or the memory carries the song.
