Contradictions
This poem was birthed at about 03:30 and is most certainly a "limite surréaliste". The words just tumbled into my head and I wrote them out.
Contradictions - 10 Oct 13
In the minutia of thought
A fragment of forgotten ideas
In which forbidden dreams
Gather and gain a foothold
A sky full of holes shines
Fills the light with darkness
A sunbow drinks
From the well of sighs
Orchids satisfy the hunger
Of the Soul ~ stills the stalking tongue
Ice ~ slip
On the bridge of midnight
The tyrant mind
Scatters petals from a random thought
Across the sheets of silk
Restless night
Not totally certain what it all means but it has an interesting feel to it, I think.
VERY interesting! and strongly "limite surréaliste" ~ i don't have to understand it all to enjoy it.
ReplyDeletei think it's fabulous that you are daring to explore outside your "usual" styles of poetry. and you are succeeding!
I feel that a strong part of poetry lies in playing with new and unexpected things and areas.
