Memory Reawakened

I was lying in bed awaiting sleep when I heard the jackdaws greeting the dawn, these words then crawled into my mind, a memory of times long past.

Memory Reawakened  -  16 Jul 15

Jackdaw wings
Fan black images
Into the morning air
Call an aged memory
To the surface again
I remember
Hot summer days
Now ended
The memory should not
Be awakened
Again
But still it slumbers
Waiting

I am grateful for a phone which has the ability to capture poems when they want to be formed.
