Slow movements
Cloud builds through the day
Late evening thunder
Mutters in the distance
Promised rain
Holds the promise
Teasing with noisy cloud





It would have been good for some rain to fall and even better for a plasma storm too.

Within minutes of "Memory Reawakened" [the offering yesterday] being written on my phone this poem wanted to be written.

I was lying in bed awaiting sleep when I heard the jackdaws greeting the dawn, these words then crawled into my mind, a memory of times long past.

Noctilucent roughly means night shining in Latin. They are clouds which most commonly observed in the summer months at latitudes between 50° and 70° north and south of the equator

Another weather observation poem because of a full day of "low-flying cloud", anywhere else it would be called fog or mist.
