Dark June


This was written on the first day of the month and, contrary to weather lore it was not "flaming June".



Dark June  -  01 Jun 15

 No fractured ray
Of sunshine
To break between
The raindrops
Incessant sound
Of dripping
Outside my window
Cold day
Dark June
Tells dark tales
Into the night



The weather gods Love playing their little jokes.

      I feel that may be pushing "Flaming June" to the limit ~ not certain that I could handle those kinds of temperatures. Though it may be fun to experience them.
