Wandering I

This poem has a sense of otherwhen-ness about it, with an essence of "The Farewell Fragments" too.
It is also clearly another Love song.

Wandering I  -  09 Sep 14

She watched
As I walked across the sands
Alone
In my thoughts
I wandering
In the pale light of the moons
My eyes drawn
To the distant lamps
Of the ships
Across the shimmering sea
And a tear fell

Still watching
She knew
She
Said come home
You have wandered
Too long my Love
It is time to return
To me

A couple of little points ~ the word "moons" is not a typo and in the title that is a capital "I" and not a Roman "one".
