Promise But...

Hoping
Sky getting dark
Promise of rain
Few drops fall
One roll of thunder
Loud
Promise
Empty promises





The offers made from the sky were not fulfilled.

      The interesting thing is that, later that night there was a really spectacular plasma storm with almost continuous flickers and flashes with, at one point, some very heavy rain.
      So the promise was kept.
