Song of the seagull 

Lives in my thoughts 

Through the day

Taking me back 

To the sands of home

Before I left 

The endless days 

Of gazing at the waves 

And dreaming of the

Endless journey

To the place where 

All beginnings unfold

Will I ever see 

The unfoldings again 

And walk in the steps 

Of me 

Or will I have to wait 

Until the universe

Turns and turns again
