Usually the things brought to the surface are pleasant but occasionally things are not invited.

From long ago 

Memories surface 

I am not certain 

That I want to see them 

Again 

Painful damaging 

Some just embarrassing 

And a few destructive

Mixed in with the pleasant 

Recollected memories 

Not always good

Trying to filter out the unwanted memories.
