Between The Stars

This poem was inspired by hearing the rhythm of a theme tune of a television series.

Between The Stars      -     07 Feb 21 

Between the stars 

I have travelled for so long 

                                            The stars are my friends 

I sing the songs of loneliness 

                                                  The stars repeat them

We form a chorus in eternal night 

                                                         The stars sing sadness

We sing together 

Between the stars

Sad but beautiful.
