After Summer

Walking through the sycamore leaves.

After Summer      -     16 Aug 20 

From the early sycamore 

A new carpet of shed leaves 

On the other trees leaves wait 

Till after summer has gone 

Before adding to the carpet 

Cool sun nearly reaches 

Ground between raindrops 

Autumn leaves a calling card 

In the cloud

Wet sycamore leaves stick to the path.
