Rain on my window 

Insistent 

Insisting 

Cold 

You know bed is warm 

Come 

Come to me 

From the warmth 

Of my bed I look up 

A face at my window 

Through rain bespattered glass 

Just hours after full 

I see the Moon 

In a myriad raindrop lenses 

Watching over me 

. 

Lovely to see the friendly face watching me.
