A slightly different acrostic, normally the title carries the root of the poem. In this version the title is a descriptive framework and the acrostic is a set of three related words.
Watching The Sun - 20 Sep 16
Reflecting
the fires of dawn
In
my skies and across my mind
Stars
are a slowly fading memory
Endlessly
scintillating dreams
Muse
weaves the words
Into
new worlds to be sung
Day
bathes the new worlds
Dance
in the magical ring
Around
the pipers mystic songs
Yielding
to the power of noon
Slow
drift into the purple
Eventide
filled with waiting dreams
Tonight
sweetly calls
I feel that it makes an interesting variation on the usual format.
