As I walked along the beach

As he woke me gently

The whispers are always with me.

Under my hands
Began to irritate me

I wrote a message

Simple
So full of meaning

The tide came in
Took my words

Waves returned
Moved on
When I looked
There were five words
“I know ~
I Love you"





I find it rather interesting how some things come back and ask to be amended.

Landfall

Another Love song but this time with a slightly different feel.  Once again this poem formed from just the title line.

Though I could not answer
I thought of you

Landfall in a place
I have known

Will know again
Where you have always been
You are waiting
