A curious little poem, I had to tease it into shape before it felt right.  I am not going to mess with it further in case it becomes stale and lifeless.

For anyone who didn't know or guess at the link, this series of poems were named for the Angels from the Gerry Anderson TV series "Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons".  That is the only connection ~ the content of the poems is entirely my own.

Fragments gathering
Collected from unexpected places
Taken from hands which wish to keep
Possession

Break free ~ fly again
Return home
Welcome them back
Hold them close

Murmur to them

Homecoming

This poem is, in part, inspired by some Soul Retrieval healing I did on someone.  

Dawn Flight

In early morning yesterday, as I was heading for bed [various things had delayed me] I looked out of my window and saw a flock of starlings sailing against the pale sky.  The seed was set and the whole poem was completed in the darkness of the following night.

In my mind’s ear
I hear the dawn chorus
Looking from my window
I watch the first flights
Starlings start
The feeding patrol

My mind’s eye
Sees the places
They visit and the sights
They gather
As they fly

My mind’s me
Soars with them
I see the world
From moor to sea
And beyond
I fly with the dawn

Interesting how inspiration can be sown by Muse and will grow into something rather unexpected.  Thank you Muse.

Muse seems to be setting a new pattern for the times I am prompted to write, just as well I do not mind.  This new poem was started at just after 05:00 and finished fairly soon after I woke later in the morning.
