Telling of the times

Spent with a Unicorn 

Playing in the early dawn 

Before Man

The games were gentle 

Music softer than 

The wind in the predawn 

Or an Angel's sigh

A little "limite surréaliste" inspired, for some reason, by a fairly well-known nursery rhyme.  I heard the words rolling round my mind and I realised there was more to be said.

A time of darkness can, paradoxically, be a time of clarity.

Song Of The River

Collecting the drinking water recently, I walked beside the stream for a short while and was aware of all the sounds made by the river and the birdsong all around.
