Constantly waving

Kelp in the tidal surge

Her hair moved

Danced

She watched

Gentle smile

Graced her lips

Filled her eyes

Her voice

Liquid silver reflects

Moon across the sea

Voice dances through my mind

The priestess of the sea

Shows me the way

Guides my moves

We swim

The woman was not actually in the sea but was very strongly connected with water.

I walk alone through the night

Talking to the phantoms

Of my memories

Time has shaped them

Into something like reality

I know better

But the phantoms

Still speak loudly

The tide has changed

Flowing away

The phantoms left stranded

On the shore

Still plead to be heard

I hear them

As I try to sleep

They show me pictures

For me to watch again

The pictures are often pleasant but frequently quite disturbing.
