Walking In My Mind

.
A whole different world to examine.

.
Walking In My Mind      -     28 Jul 21

Looking at the scenery
Surprising unexpected
Unknown flowers
In colours I have never seen
A landscape
Filled with unusual shapes
Seen only because
I am walking in my mind

.
I do not think I am alone.

Weaving Words

.
Creation in many ways.

.
Weaving Words    -   09 Sep 19

Preparing to build the tapestry
Colours forming in my mind
I see the shapes I need
To form the landscape
Of my dream
Words have to be drawn out
Weaving them in my thoughts
Threads of the infinite

.
Drawn, painted, woven, create the real world in which you want to live.

Forgiving [Acrostic]

Playing with a word.

.
Forgiving [Acrostic]     -    27 May 19

First frosts embellished
On orange blossom's blooms
Rites are realised in the
Greatest visions of
Invented imagery
Verified views reshape visions
In the inner landscape
Never reflected in the outer
Golden Dragon's dreams

.
Dragons are wonderful people.

Rain Clouds

.
Quite a lot of those here recently.

.
Rain Clouds    -   09 Nov 18

Hanging over the landscape
A tired weather cape
Does not protect from the rain
Clouds bring more
Fields vanish into the drizzle
The rain clouds rule the land

.
Waiting for dry days to return.

Deserted Dreams

I was reading a poem by my Lovely friend dani when Muse suggested that I paid more attention to two words.  I asked permission to use them and the poem flowed very quickly.

Deserted Dreams  -  30 May 13

On an old tired landscape
Shapes lie abandoned
Discarded
Like old memories
Near forgotten
From mind

Crying in the wilderness
Of yesterday
Hanging on the thorns
Of misremembered days
Like tattered cloth
Deserted dreams

They hope to be collected
Patched ~ pieced together
Made whole again
To fill the space left
Where the dreams
Used to play

The poem I read can be found here ~

~ and I really would Love to thank dani for permission to quote from her poem.

I would also thank Muse for drawing my attention to these words.
