I seem to be creating a Chess Game series of poems.  I'm not entirely certain where this originates but the whole thing works for me.

Drawing the cloak
Of fantasy about my shoulders
The Queen
Has told of her desire
Her need
With her gentle smile
She requests
I remove my cloak
She stands before me
Fantasy becomes real
And I surrender
To the Queen





Guess I will keep going till I reach the end game.

Cloak Of Night

When this poem first started growing I had no idea where it was going but, after a few lines, I realised that it was a Love song and even carried a chorus of sorts on each stanza.  I rather like the effect and hope you do too.
