Colour Of Evening

.
Slowly fading into black.

Colour Of Evening        -        01 Feb 23

The day was fairly clear
As evening closed in
The colour of evening
Lost definition
Faded fast into black

All colours fade eventually.

Three Touches Now

Not entirely certain if this poem should be designated a "limite surréaliste" even though it has some characteristics of that genre.  Whatever, it is a Love song anyway.

Three Touches Now  -  01 Apr 15

Dark night stars
Blinking between cloud
Watching me through
Black on black
Remembered eyes glow
Each touch warm
With kisses embroidered
We share three
Touches of Love
Now and forever

A Love song is in a category of its own, it is a category in itself.

Raven Cloak

Watching dark clouds flapping like wings triggered my thoughts here and so the Raven was born to dance.

Raven Cloak  -  23 Jun 14

Dance of the raven
Swirling cloak
Fanning the summer sky
Encouraging spark of the sun
To try to pierce the cloak
Raven knows the game
Flicks the cloak higher
Pretending night
Black feathers
Iridescent shine
Stars on the cloak

The cloak has a magical effect on everything.

Haikū 44

More from the hand-written Haikū archives.  All of these Haikū originate from 19 May 10 except for the last one which comes from 20 May 10.

Stare

Your intense beauty
Flowing from your Soul ... cannot
Help myself ... I stare

Fast

While thinking of you
I remember what we did
and my Heart beats fast

Poser

Changed his position
To appear more attractive
Ecch - what a poser

Lost

Wandering around
Feeling lost, very alone
You are not with me

Darkness

In darkness I sit
Low cloud releases the rain
Day faded to black

More to come...

Panther in the Night

This poem grew suddenly in the very early hours, the day was but a few hours old, Muse wouldn't allow me to relax but insisted that it was placed in a document and transferred to this blog immediately.  I know better than to argue with Muse and her recommendations.

Panther in the Night  -  01 Jul 12

Eyes ~ black
Like polished coal
Cut through me
Touched me deep within
Framed in green

Watched me
Purred
In the night
Light rain ~ misted dark
Jewelled fur

She lay beside me
Took my hand ~ smiled
Held me close
I felt her warm breath
On my neck

Sensuously
She writhed against me
Whispered ~ "...now my Love"
In the darkness
Panther

I feel that this is one of the better flow poems and hope you do too.
