Taste Of Your Kiss

.
Passion is the best spice.

.
Taste Of Your Kiss       -      01 Jun 21

Honey sweet
With the spice of passion
Pepper hot
I relish
The taste of your kiss
Craving more

.
An addiction.

Gently

A slightly surreal offering today.

Gently  -  20 Nov 17

In slow movements
Gently fills the space
Between moments
Under the stars
Honey slide into me

How does it make you feel?

I Knew

Feeling your touch.

I Knew  -  19 Feb 17

I always did know
When you were in my mind
Your gentle touch
Your sweet voice
Flowed through my thoughts
Honey smooth
Woke my thoughts
To be open to you
Woke me to fill my thoughts
With you and all you are
I knew what you wanted

Feeling your touch everywhere.

Our Secret

Honey-sweet secrets ~ shared with the one who knows.

Our Secret  -  06 Nov 14

Hint of honey
From a secret kiss
You gave me
When no one was watching
Our secret
Only we can share
The honey
Tasted once
Never forgotten

No one else shall know.

Sweet Thoughts

Another "thoughts" poem, quite self explanatory I thnik.

Sweet Thoughts  -  16 Sep 14

Sweet thoughts
Honey infused fills me
Brings you into my world
Again and again
Holding the memories of
What will be
More powerful
Than anything from my
What was

At least my thoughts say it is fully explained.

Slowly

A Love song triggered by a perceived taste of honey even though I have not eaten any for many months.

Slowly  -  08 May 14

Honeyed words
Drip
Slowly
From her tongue
Fall softly on me
Glazing my thoughts
Giving me a taste
Of her
Her honey intoxicates me
Lets her Love
Fill me
Draws my Love out
For her

Interesting how little imagined things can influence thoughs of the "real world".

Silk and Honey

This little poem grew from a misheard line from a song ~ I felt that what I heard was more interesting than the actual line so...

Silk and Honey  -  22 Feb 13

You gave me touches
Little movements of your fingers
Bring shivers where’re you linger
Silk on my skin

Sweet your kisses
Pleasure laden
Soft breath across my face
Honey on my lips

I find it totally fascinating how little things can trigger thoughts which lead somewhere wonderful.

Roses Are Read

A Fantasia on an original theme by Sir Edmund Spenser [1552 - 1599] from his "The Faerie Quene" [Book Three, Canto 6, Stanza 6] written in 1590.
This was also seen in various nursery rhymes and other things from 1784 to the present day.

Roses Are Read - 05 Apr 11

Roses are read
The words dripping
Like bloody tears
To velvet robes

Violets blew
In tousled waves
Across the ground
To rest upon the bank

Honey's sweet
Nectar changed in secret ways
So that the flavour reminds me
Of the time we spent together

And so...my thoughts
Remain with you in all my days
Through all the ways
Your magic has enwrapped me

This is my offering for One Stop Poetry...
