Purple sunrise
Paints the desert
Lights the sky
In ways unexpected
Soul paints sunrise
Taking forms
Turning them
We sing them now
Song of sunrise
Wisps of smoky cloud
Wrapped around us
We swim in purple
Still not certain what it is about.
