I had worked on this poem for quite a while but was not totally satisfied with how it felt. 

I showed it to the one special person and she suggested a few amendments, the version that appears here encorporates those amendments.

Hello 

So many people 

Have written songs with that 

Simple salutation 

I have read a lot of them 

And they are beautiful 

But I never felt that what 

I wanted to say 

Would convey the same feeling 

And then you turned to me 

Smiled 

And said 

Hello

I give thanks to the one special person for the assistance.

Sensuous times with the Moon.

Moon told me of her Love

As she kissed me again

Feeling good.

Ondine

Reminded of Ondine after watching a DVD and my mind was taken by the name.
I checked on the myth and was inspired to write this song.





Ondine  -  20 Mar 17

She danced across the water

Joyfully

Feet lightly touching

Scattering spray

Laced with sunlight

Rainbows fell into the water

Sound of her song

She smiled

And danced more

Ondine comes from Latin roots, unda meaning wave and means “water spirit”.

Now used as a female first name.

The DVD was "Black Widow".

Words From Within

I was wondering what I could write for this poem and was just idly watching the Twitter stream when my eyes were suddenly caught by a single phrase, "AU LOMANI IKO".  Fijian for "I Love You" ~ the poem just wrote itself.

Smiled

Her voice smiled too
As did her eyes
Her words resonated

As she looked deep within
Offered the words again

Strictly this is not really connected to the previous "View" poem but the title drew me in and I had to run with it.

Infinity wraps us
And shows us
The open door to

We enter

Muse offers things to my waking mind ... and sometimes to my sleeping mind too ... but this was definitely a waking moment.
