Kissed By The Moon

Sensuous times with the Moon.

Kissed By The Moon  -  30 Jan 18

Lying in bed
She leaned over me
Caressed my forehead
Smiled sweetly
Kissed me gently
Moon told me of her Love
As she kissed me again

Feeling good.

We Wrap We

I offer the third and final part of the "Wrap" sequence of poems.

We Wrap We  -  22 May 14

We own the dream
In dream caressed
Played the magic games
Through to completion
Knowing on the new day
Ahead of us
We can start new games
So for now
We rest
In each other’s arms
We wrapped in we
Into the night
Together
We
With kisses
And Love
In our dream
Forever

I hope you enjoyed the sequence.

Another View, Another Place

Strictly this is not really connected to the previous "View" poem but the title drew me in and I had to run with it.

Another View, Another Place  -  07 Sep 13

She watched me
As I thought
Contemplated
How she played me
How she played with me
We enjoyed the game

She watched me
Smiled gently, sweetly
Caressed me
With her eyes
Invited me to start
Another game

Wondering whether there will be more "View"s to come.

Dream Wings

I was lying in bed beginning to drift into sleep when I felt a soft touch on my face and Muse whispered "write it..."

Dream Wings  -  26 Jun 13

Wings
Touched me
In the night
Kept a dream awake
You reached for me again
Kissed my sleeping lips
Caressed my dream
Held me
Close

I was fascinated by the construction ~ one word, then two, up to five then back down to one again.

One Moon

This poem grew suddenly and swiftly from a simple sighting of a quote of a Zen saying.
"One moon shows in every pool ~ in every pool one moon"

One Moon  -  19 May 13

She played
Stirred the waters
Into a gentle whirlpool

One Moon showed
A secret face
Never seen
Except by her Lover

One Moon kissed
My reflection as I spun
In her dance
One Moon caressed
My shadow as I rested
One Moon held
My Heart as I gave myself
To her

One Moon ~ the only Moon
Promised me
The Universe
As she gave herself to me

Another of the suggestions to look at something from Muse.

Dawn's Dream

The third segment of the "Dream" sequence.

Dawn's Dream  -  03 May 13

Caressed by the night
In the night
As the stars begin to fade
Into the dawn

A Lover’s kiss
Remembering
Reminding
Tenderness

Sweet thoughts
A hint of fragrance
From another time
Dawn’s dream

I'm hoping that there are more to come ~ with a little assistance from Muse.

Reality Seven ~ Reality

Yesterday another poem in the Reality series started to grow ~ from the final stanza forward.  Quite unusual for the last lines to come formed before anything else.  It was completed this afternoon and I now present it here.

Reality Seven ~ Reality  -  07 & 08 Jul 12

In our play
She led us deep…
Deep within the forest
Into the Halls
Of Poseidon

Amethysts shone
Diamonds lit the way
Our eyes reflected
The beauty
Skin glowed

We swam again
In Ocean’s warmth
Our thoughts entwined
Dreams blended
Our tails
Moved in synchrony

Contagious smile
Caressed me
Said…
Welcome home

It may be that this is the final poem in the Reality series - I feel that completion has been achieved but who knows what Muse knows.

The Garden of Infinity

This poem took quite a long time to grow, the first stanza appeared a few nights ago followed by a rather long gap but, suddenly, last night the remainder appeared quickly and smoothly.  So, now, here is...

The Garden of Infinity  -  25 & 29 Mar 12

Her footsteps
Gently caressed the lawn
Silent
As a whisper
In the night

Her feet
Kissed by the dew
Washed by beauty
Then dried
By the sun at dawn

Her smile
Pales the intensity
Of the rose
And makes the day
Even warmer

Her Soul
Patiently waiting
In the Garden
For her Lover
To join her

It is quite unusual for a poem to take a long while to grow or rather - emerge into the world but even then I am usually pleased with the result.  Thank you Muse.
