Falling leaves imitating
Time sand in an
Empty hourglass
Raking the tiny flowers
Now giving the last perfume
Out into the world
On wings of dream
Now eyes closed
Sleeping in the afternoons





Those Lovely gentle sleeps which make afternoons complete.

Invite the afternoon
To share the colours
The stories
