The thought came and searched around for a way to express itself.

Days drift by ~ call out to night
Reaching into memories
Even as we try to create
Ample ideas which we know
May grow into the things we want

Building the forms
Under which we will live
Infinite playground
Love is the architect
Dream the tools
Imagination where it grows
Now let us take flight
Grow





It found a good way and settled down ~ to grow.

Sea Of Time

Little words and phrases had been drifting through my mind for most of the afternoon so I sat and started to type and, as quite often happens, the poem grew rapidly with only a few prompts from Muse.

Standing on the sand
On the shore
Waves of the Sea of Time
Washing around my feet

I remember you
In all our lives
We shared together
Dreaming our realities

Waiting for you now
On this last day
When we shall be together
Forever

Come to me – kiss me
Walk with me – let us fly
Infinity
Shall be our new playground





I love when Muse starts prompting and then allows me to get on with it.

This poem grew in the very early hours of this morning, around the midnight hour seems to be a favourite time for Muse to tap me on my shoulder and request that I start to write. Just as well I am normally awake then...

She paused
Watching me
A subtle smile
Played across her lips
Hinted at a kiss

Playing
With my mind
Teasing
Only a little game
Her eyes told me
But she liked
Playing

She wanted me
To join the game
Emperor to her
Empress
Lovers in our World
The Universe
Our playground

She offered her hand
Warm and inviting
Said...come with me
I reached out
Took her hand
Looked deep
Into her eyes
And saw
The playground awaited
