Imagined Worlds

.
I have seen so many worlds.

Imagined Worlds    -     28 Oct 19

I have seen times
I have seen places
Where the rains of Spring
Caress my face
As I watch the days
Grow longer
I wander the landscapes
Through all the years
Walking in my
Imagined worlds

Perhaps you will see me out there somewhen.

You Have Me

.
A beautiful Loving relationship grows when two people are open to connecting.

.
You Have Me     -    19 Jan 19

I have come down
From the lakeshore
Leaving my world behind
Knowing I can never return
The life I left is no longer
For me

I saw you calling to me
When I was wandering
Through sad and tired landscapes
I thought that my new life
Was not for me
Like my old life

I looked again at you
You smiled at me and
Said
You have me
Take my hand walk with me
Into your new life with me

.
Ready to explore and experience change.

Dreamcastles

Building a special home with a Loved one, dreams as yet but...

Dreamcastles  -  27 Jun 14

Sharing ideas
Growing our home
In the realms
Of dream beyond now
Landscapes wrap around
Vistas open
Room by room
The castle grows

Funny how the spellchecker accepts sandcastles but not dreamcastles.

Threads

This poem grew in the very early hours of this morning, I am not entirely certain what it means but Muse was insistent that it should be posted here - I'm not going to argue...

Threads - 09 Jun 10

You took me
Held me
Tied me with your golden cord

Drifts of opal cloud
Hide you from my eye
And let you play the game

Stroking
Teasing
Binding with a silver web

Plaiting my thoughts
Into the fabric
Images are shown

Strewn across my mind
Landscapes
Drawn with thread

I walk...exploring
Guided by your threads
Take me further

Bound with your thoughts
Seeing sights created by you
For my eyes

Iridescent
Gold --- opal --- silver
Dragonfly wings

I wrote it out, slept on it, now - posted it here and I still do not really understand the meaning...anybody?

Landscapes

It is only because I am re-reading these poems in what is essentially random order that I realise that I have an obsession with; the sea, dreams, dawn, the list goes on.

Do you really think that I care? I am having far too much fun playing with words.

Today's offering comes from 1997 and continues some of these themes.

Landscapes 20 Sep 97

Across
The landscapes of our souls
Travelling.
Where we are bound
I do not know
But though I cannot see
Somewhere

Somehow
We dream
In the darkest night
Moondark
A vision forms

The landscape
While dark
Holds our nightmare thoughts
The phantom dreams
Where night
Meets the half formed dawn
Before the sun can wake the day

Shadows
Flee before the sun
Terrors
Try to hide in the shadows
Within the landscapes
Of our souls

We travel on
To an unknown future
Dreams unfulfilled
Fulfilling
Some of our dreams
We sleep
And let the dawn
Illuminate the landscapes
Of our souls

I feel that this one poem is enough for this time, I like it, hope you did too.
