Never did this myself but I did keep memories between the pages of a diary I used to write.

Walking the circle

Blessing the stones

Bringing forth the power

I watch

From the now

Into the then

As the ceremony begins

Is it just a dream

Or am I there

To partake

I was actually watching the events from very many centuries ago.

The heady days of summer

Now long passed

The nights are getting longer

Becoming colder

Days cannot seem to hold

As much as they did

The songs of autumn

Just a fading memory

Leaves from the trees

Chased by the wind

Across the ground

Hiding in the corners

Soon only frost

Will rule the world

We shall await the warmth

Of beautiful spring days

But for now we watch

The winter coming on

I have heard that it is worse up-country.
