Beacon

The light calling me to you.

Beacon  -  01 Jul 14

The brightest star
Shines in your sky
Guiding me
Along a road
Lined with candles
Making sure
I follow the way
To you

I am always watching the light.

Forgotten Moments

We all have those times when a fragment of a memory wanders through our minds, sometimes they speak rather loudly to try to get our attention.

Forgotten Moments  - 30 Jun 14

Forgotten moments
Hinted by a sudden thought
Wondering where
It came from
Wondering where
They went
Transient thoughts
Fade before the memories do
Leaving the memories
Orphaned
Though still whispering

Usually these thoughts can be ignored.  Sometimes they are just too loud.

Song Of Freedom

A Love song about the beginnings of a journey.

Song Of Freedom  -  29 Jun 14

The sands of time
Flow silently through
Our fingers
My whispers in your mind
Sing a gentle song
Of freedom
Let us go and see
Where the sands take us

Wonder where the sands will lead.

Night Whispers

Sing a song of whispers ~ weave them into a Love song.

Night Whispers  -  29 Jun 14

Warm night
Secret whispers
Never disturbing the quiet
Night spirits cannot hear us
As we plan our dream

Nightbirds sing
They guess our plan
Tease us
Threaten to tell
Sing on nightbirds

Maybe that should be a Lust song ~ or at least the beginnings of one.

Dreamcastles

Building a special home with a Loved one, dreams as yet but...

Dreamcastles  -  27 Jun 14

Sharing ideas
Growing our home
In the realms
Of dream beyond now
Landscapes wrap around
Vistas open
Room by room
The castle grows

Funny how the spellchecker accepts sandcastles but not dreamcastles.

We Dance

A call to dance from a lot of different places.

We Dance  -  27 Jun 14

Rain dance
Across a cloudy sky
Sun dance
Between the showers
Moon dance
Dreaming in the night
We dance
Everywhere we can hear
The music of our dance
Played by our Souls

Stepping out to join in the dance together.

I Will Find You

A Love song with an element of science fiction ~ for a change.

I Will Find You  -  26 Jun 14

I will find you
Even when you hide
On other planets
Beneath the rainbow rings
Of alien worlds
Secret places
Hidden in another land
I shall look
And I shall find you
To show you my Love

Re-reading it now, there is a certain creepyness to this poem.

Still Dreams

Yet another sweet Love song.

Still Dreams  -  26 Jun 14

Your Heart and mine
Have been together
Through all our Eternities
And when our dreams
Are still
In the night
I wait for you to return
To my side

A lot of these little Love songs are filled with longing, somehow making them more poignant.

Sweet Thief

Another little Love song.

Sweet Thief  -  26 Jun 14

You stole my Heart
In the night
Sweet thief
You left me
With a hint of perfume
And your Heart
A Loving present
To show
That in the exchange
We shall share the dream

Tender thievery.

Songs Of Love

These really are "Songs" there are four here for your reading pleasure.
The first stanza is a Senryū, the second is a Gogyohka, the third is an Acrostic and the last is a “modern Haikū”

Songs Of Love  -  25 Jun 14

Single rose petal
Fairy boat sails on the stream
Takes my Heart to you

You sing the harmony
I sing the counterpoint
Our world filled with music
As we take the melody
Beyond expectations

Hearing your whisper
Every second I am near
Always telling of your Love
Reaching into me
Touching me deeply

I
Love
You

I think the structure works rather well.
