Walking Through The Dreams

.
Tasting them again.

Walking Through The Dreams       -       25 Nov 21

Freshly woven
Sweetly fragranced
Never binding
I am walking through
The dreams of my life
Experiencing them
Once again with pleasure

Sometimes looking back gives great pleasure.

Threads Of Time

.
Always unreal.

Threads Of Time       -      26 Oct 21

The tapestry is formed
Layers of images
Colours shape an
Imagined reality
Woven from the
Threads of time
Resting against
An unreal wall
As a phantom wind
Blows through the dream forest

Is anything real?

Hammock

.
An observation near a window.

.
Hammock      -      25 May 21

Woven by a master
Web of eternal peace
Resting place for many
The hammock by the window
Awaits the next victim

.
Not a place I would want to rest.

Tapestry Of Stars

.
Look into the sky and see for yourself.

Tapestry Of Stars      -     25 Nov 20

Woven memories
Infused with light
Of a myriad stars
Shaped by a skilful hand
Into a tapestry
Telling the story
Of eternity

Read the story.

Woven

This poem was birthed after I read the line "weave your love..." and I heard the loom start to clatter, I had to stop what I was doing and write it down before I was allowed to continue with my other stuff.

Woven - 13 May 10

Strands of silver
Combed gently
From the Moon
Strands of blue
Washed by
The sea
And woven
Into a tapestry
That shows
An inticate pattern
Of intermingled
...Dream...
...Reality...
Where one ends
And the other begins
Is never clear
Even the Dream Weaver
Cannot see
Or be certain
Of where the boundary
Runs

Come, let us see
If we can trace
The strands
To see which is yours
Which mine
Or if they are truely
Shared
And ours

Another poem born from a few words gathered almost at random - when Muse says write it is a good idea to listen...
