Desire

The warrior
Allows his passion
To spill and flow
Because he has found
A special Love
Fierce Mars
Betrayed by his
Tender side
Though he knows
His new Lover
Enjoys his
Gentle touch

.
Fierce and tender make a good combination.

I think this can be categorised as a Warrior's Tribute.

The warrior smiles
Takes up his sword
Returns it to the scabbard
Though no one is listening
He says I salute you
With a nod of acceptance
And I watch
As he goes on his way
Again
