In a mind well travelled

Through lands unknown 

I watch the colours shift 

Bring patterns to life

Weaving words into

Sentences of mystery 

And watch them 

Joyfully burn 

Illuminating the world

This poem was inspired by hearing the rhythm of a theme tune of a television series.

Between the stars 

I have travelled for so long 

                                            The stars are my friends 

I sing the songs of loneliness 

                                                  The stars repeat them

We form a chorus in eternal night 

                                                         The stars sing sadness

We sing together 

Between the stars

Sad but beautiful.

A Place To Rest

Always looking.

So long 

I have travelled 

Weary 

Of the constant movement 

Looking 

For somewhere to rest 

Will 

I ever find the place 

I 

Keep looking
