Footprints
tell the tale
Of
passing hours
And
pauses
To
watch waves dance
To
dream in the flight
Of
the seagulls
Those tales tell all.

Dream
Enfolding
Petals wrap us
As we watch
Dream opens
The stream still flows
Carrying our thoughts
Our wishes
To mingle with the waves
Flow over the sand
Seagulls know our song
But whisper it softly
To the roses
As we wander
Through the dream
Bamboo wind chimes
Gently wake
Our dream
Allow us to
Live through
This is also the first of a new breed of poem I shall be calling "poème ballants" ~ the dangling poem, one which seems to have no definite end.
