Look for one moment
At the myriad reflections
In the eyes of the watcher
Soft tears flow
The watcher has seen it
All before
Knows how it will end
The moment stretches
Out to infinity

Gentle wrap
Soft blanket
Lake still
No ripples
Mirror calm
Hold trees
Captive beauty
Beauty captivating
