Inkwell

.
Words feed me.

Inkwell         -        06 Oct 22

I am being written
One slow word
At a time
The manuscript
Never finishes
The inkwell
Never empties
The words
Always flowing

How to write the story.

Rainbow

.
Listening to the music of Ed Alleyne-Johnson "Ultraviolet", this poem burst into my mind.

Rainbow       -       21 Mar 22

Rainbow
Drawn across the manuscript
By a violin bow
Sketched notes
In the sky
Binding night and day
In an unbreakable
Bow of light

I wish I could hear more of his works.

Illumination

.
A picture.

.
Illumination      -      11 Jul 21

Light and colour
Come together to form
A manuscript
Of beauty illustrating
Where we are
Illumination
Of the map

.
A picture is often more effective than words.

Play Me

This poem came to me as I was putting together the acrostic I posted yesterday.  I cannot say more, just hope you enjoy it.

Play Me  -  01 Jul 13

Play me
In the silence of my dream
The pages turned
Of the manuscript
Staves yet unmarked
Without time or key
You hear the music
Of my Soul
And I ask you to
Play me

I rather like the effect contained within the poem.
