Great Journey

.
Knowing that the destination is Lovely.

.
Great Journey       -        04 Apr 22

On the great journey
Many landmarks
Are passed
Places marked as
Boundaries between
Places and thoughts
All different
One thing is certain
We will be together
When the journey
Is over

.
The journey is wonderful but the destination is much better.

Altered

.
A shift in the way things are perceived.

.
Altered    -    27 Mar 19

The states of existence
Have shifted in ways
Which define the boundaries
Reshaping the now
Altered the form
Of perception

.
These shifts are happening all the time.

Heart Touch

This poem grew as a result of a special connection between two Souls.

Heart Touch  -  05 Nov 13

Open
A heart reaches out
To take my hand
Asks for a kiss
Craves
Special company
Shares itself with mine
Blends
No boundaries
Between us

Some connections are always very special.

Blending Into We

Another poem verging on the surreal ~ it grew just a little while into the afternoon and waited till just past the midnight hour to complete.

Blending Into We  -  08 Aug 13

Where the I ends
The sea begins
We blend
Within I meet you

Where the you ends
I begin
We know no boundaries
Within you meet me

We never end
We never begin
In our Eternity
We meet We

Some of the phrasing was left deliberately vague, I feel that it was necessary to maintain the surreal effect.

Rain : Two Views

Each part of this poem was birthed separately but in the very early hours of the morning, like fraternal twins, related but in no way identical. Each was inspired by something seen; in the first, the way that the landscape was lost in the cloud - in the second, street lamplight refracted by raindrops on my window.

Rain : Two Views - 06 Oct 11

I

Rain
Blurs the boundaries
Between sky and earth
Rain
Blurs the boundaries
Between mind and reality

II

Stars dropped by the clouds
Scattered
Thrown against my window
By the wind
Random patterns
Rain constellations

Muse has a rather interesting way of showing me things, to inspire thoughts which then have to be written down - no matter the hour or place.
