Faded flowers 

Lost their brilliance 

On a dark day 

When the light 

Went out 

Leaving us in darkness 

Again 

. 

The list of months does not relate to "reality", whatever that is.

Echoes Drown

Those times when words do not seem to work.

Talking to myself 

Again 

The echoes drown 

My words 

Leaving me 

Alone

In my personal silence 

Again

The words have 

A meaning 

Of their own 

Known only to them 

Again

And I lapse

Into silence 

. 

I was going to add "Again" as a final line but thought not.
