This is probably a reworking of something I wrote years ago.

Words mingle
With abandoned shells
Echo of the memory
Of the sea

I wrote on the sand
A message
Which only you
And the sea would read

Waves carried words
To take them to you
So you could read
What once was on the sand





I feel that this version is better than the first one.
