Lonely Place

This poem came about because of a failed connection in communication, messages just did not appear when they should.

Silence
Is a lonely place
When I am expecting
A Love song
From a special person
And we cannot connect

Silence
Is unwelcome
In a dark place
When Love
Is expected
But does not appear

Silence
In all the lonely places
Nobody to see the pain
Of the silence
In the lonely dark
Silence





Communication was restored but the poem had been birthed and I am pleased with the result even though the content is rather sad.
