Evening light shines

From the setting sun

Over a gentle river

Ripples reflect the shapes

Endlessly under the trees

Before sunset.

To where
Water pours free
Drink

Ocean’s roar
Carried by the wind
Wakes all five senses
Reminds the body
Of what we are
