Walls and ramparts

Surround 

Protecting from the day

In the dream 

I am safe

But 

Beyond the wards

I know not 

What may await

Keep the watch.

Heart

A plea.

Don't drop my Heart 

It is a fragile thing 

It will not survive 

Just hold it gently 

Care for it 

Whisper soft words 

Of Love 

And keep it safe

The special person already cares for my Heart.
