Another World

.
I found you waiting.

Another World      -     06 Dec 20

Searching for a different
Way to see
For a different place
To be
I found another world
Which held you
Waiting for me
The welcome I felt
I never had before
Now I am home

You were here all along, I just did not see you.

The Edge Of Elsewhen

.
A poem with a touch of the surreal.

The Edge Of Elsewhen    -    03 Jan 20

You have seen me
In a place
Where I might have been
You can take me
From here to Elsewhen
Darkness on the edge
The light of you
Clearly shines
The path awaits

Can you see it?

Touch Why

.
A statement and questions about unreality.

.
Touch Why     -    04 Feb 19

Truth progresses
Taking the body
To levels unexpected
Touch the place
Take the why
Through unreality
To truth

.
The quest for truth.

Moving Images

.
Images can move in many different ways.

.
Moving Images    -    03 Jan 19

Shifting from one place to another
Moving images
Each taking a place
In the pattern of a life
Forming
Shaping
Transforming
Images constantly moving
Creating new pictures

.
The images can be emotionally moving as well.

Thinking Of

I Love the way my brain works.

Thinking Of  -  15 Dec 17

A remembered place
Where we rested
For some moments
Thinking of it
Takes me back
I start to think of you
And the circle is complete

Memories which may or may not have happened.

Whisperings

Random thoughts, random memories, suddenly emerge from my past to tickle my mind and inspire me to create this poem.

Whisperings  -  30 Sep 13

An old memory
Called forth by
Chance sightings
Of an image

A name

A whispering
In the wind
Of words carried
Over the years

A place

Only remembered
In a chance thought
May not even be real
Any longer

The people and places alluded to in this poem, were essentially forgotten things from when I was about 17 years old and, as I said, may not even exist now.
