Sleep [Haiku]

This poem almost wrote itself.

Sleep [Haiku]         -        16 Sep 22

Touching the dreams as 

they pass on the way to sleep 

encrusted nightfall 

. 

I can often feel my dreams. 

. 

Anticipation

The brightness of the summer night sky has been witnessed by myself and commented upon by some others.

In the glow of nightfall
Summer days never
Really end
Sky still pale
Long after sunset
Anticipation
Of a new dawn





It has an almost magical feel.
