Secret Thoughts

.
Romantic and inspiring.

Secret Thoughts         -         26 Sep 22

Days and nights
Filled with secret thoughts
Of when we meet

That special time
When we can
Be together

Between the stars
Under all the moons
In the sea of Love

Always together.

Travelled

.
I had a few good suggestions from someone special on how to refine this poem, I took them gratefully and you now see the final version.

Travelled     -     01 Dec 19

In a dark night when stars
Are sleeping
Clouds talk of other days
Under other suns
Drifting and awakening

I have seen the moons
Dance in a scarlet sky
Over distant worlds
Which carry no name
No peoples trod the land

No words to tell the tales
Of other worlds beyond
Between undertaking
And the depths of sanity
Imagined shades in the night

I have travelled where I cannot be
Reality does not want me
I have seen enough
I shall return
To my homeworld

I think this works, what is your opinion?

Wander

.
Another thought of the special person.

.
Wander   -   01 Oct 19

You wander
From dream to dream
Between the moons
Not realising
That you are the dream
For me

.
The moons light the way for us.

Honesty

Found on the riverbank after getting the water.

Honesty  -  31 Jul 16

River dance
Sing in the shimmer
Of multiple spotlights
Shone by the sun

On the bank
Cast away moons
Still carry the seeds
Of moons to come

Dusty sprig
Honesty silver dreams
Faded slightly
But still a promise

I gathered them for decoration and for the seeds.

Midnight Moons

Another poem with more than just a hint of "limite surréaliste" to it.

Midnight Moons  -  17 Oct 13

Starsong
Echoes of an ancient tongue
Still whispered
In the halls of time

Across the plains of midnight
Under the phantom moons
I wait
Listening to the song

On the shore
The silent sun turns to the sea
Calls her back to stand
Beside us once again

The journey is complete
Whispers stilled
Now we just listen to the
Starsong

I Love the way these poems are developing.
