The sky in formless grey 

Shapes the day to its will 

Holding before releasing 

A hint of mizzle 

Wet in the unlight 

. 

From the fairly early hours till after sunset, mizzle.

The Point

Cornwall in autumn and winter is often beset with low-flying cloud.

Mizzle
Rain without conviction
I walk on puddled streets
Across autumn's discards
Wishing there was a view
Cloud scrapes the ground
I can almost hear it
Mizzle
Muffles all sound
The point of this walk
Is almost lost





But when it is clear the views are wonderful.
