This started out being a Love song but my thoughts gradually shifted and the focus shifted too.  The end result was a received Love song ~ see what I mean ...

Paint on me the rainbow hues
Of your Love
Use no brushes
Just your fingertips

Colour my world
With your Love’s light
Show me your world
So we can dance together

Little traces in light and colour
You leave on my skin
Turn into words for me to read
I Love You





I rather like the way it turned out.

Lost

This poem grew during the day rather than during the night as is more usual for my writings.

Lost in the space

Between one word

And the next

Between each breath

When you share

The breaths

Between Heartbeats

When you share the way

That each beat

Plays Love’s dance

The phrase "Lost In Space" kept wandering through my mind but I knew that I could not use it because of the old TV series and movie.

Woven Lace

This poem grew just moments before bedtime last "night".  I was surprised at how well it worked.

Touch we
Warm caress

Warming flow
Love’s web

Breath invites
Sweet sigh
Interlaced dreams
